PRESSURE WASHER QUICK CONNECT COUPLERS

QUICK CONNECT COUPLERS

There are several types of quick connect couplers used in the pressure washer industry. The terminology is as follows:

22mm DESIGN THAT CONNECTS BY TWISTING.
Hoses and Guns using this type of connectors
are what we refer to as HOBBY Hoses and HOBBY Guns.
Guns with 3/8" inlet threads can be adapted using sockets OR plugs
and can also be adapted for using 22mm Hobby Hose connection.

Normally Heavy Duty Pressure Washer hose is 3/8" threaded on both ends.
In most applications,
a Socket is on one end and a PLUG is on the other end.
If your hose has a SOCKET and PLUG, you are probably using a Heavy Duty Hose, 3/8"O.D.

Most smaller pressure washers for home use come with Hobby Hoses with the twist style connectors and 1/4"O.D. plastic tubing.

Two sections of Hobby Hose can be connected using the configuration shown below.

NOTE-You will lose pressure by joining two Hobby Hoses together.

Most Hobby Hoses are 25 Feet to 30 Feet in length. Joining two together is not adviseable if pressure is to be maintained,
but can be done.
